By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan. 30: The government is administering vaccines against the novel coronavirus (nCOV) to the children of the 5-11 age group within two months.
Dr. Rudra Prasad Marasini, director of the Management Division under the Department of Health Services, informed that process to immunize children aged 5-11 with Pfizer against the nCOV has already been initiated.
Speaking at the press briefing held by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Dr. Marasini stated that the process to purchase 8.4 million doses of Pfizer for the children has already been initiated.
National Immunisation Committee has already recommended the government to administer the vaccines to the children in the 5-11 age group.
