Kathmandu, Mar. 6: The Office of the Controller of the Examination (OCE) of Tribhuvan University (TU) has directed its all examination centres across the country to install CCTV cameras there by April 2.
It aims at making examinations more systematic and their monitoring more effective, even from a distance.
According to Pushparaj Joshi, c ontroller of the OCE, they have already instructed all the examination centres to install CCTV cameras capable of recording examination and entrance scenes and answer book sealing room.
Failing to do so will keep them from conducting upcoming examinations, Joshi added.
TU has taken such measure after it received lots of complains about cheating in examinations.
