By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May. 4: The COVID-19 Crisis Management Centre-operation (CCMC-ops), run by the government, has brought toll-free numbers into operation in order to provide emergency services amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
One can dial 1140 to reach the centre, 102 for ambulance services, 1140 for disposal of the dead body of virus-infected person and 105 to receive information about the team deployed for dead body management.
Similarly, the death certificate of the COVID-19 patient and positive RT-PCR test report can be emailed to the centre to call for disposal of the body.
The centre further informed that a request letter from the concerned hospital would be required if the patient has died at the hospital and a letter from the concerned local level was mandatory if the patient died while staying in home isolation for the management of the dead body.
