Baitadi tipper accident
By Gokarna Dayal, Baitadi, Feb 21: Bodies of the three who died in the Baitadi tripper accident have been identified.
Rajesh Shahi, the inspector at the Area Police Office at Patan, said that three students died on the spot in the accident at Damora of Patan Municipality-3 in the afternoon today.
The tipper with registration number Ba. 3 Kh 4879 was carrying students heading home from Sigas Secondary School located at Garuda, Patan Municipality-3.
Although the locals and transport entrepreneurs informed that seven students had died in the accident, the police confirmed the death of only three students on the spot.
The police said six others have been injured and the driver of the tipper has fled the scene.
