By Dipak Prasad Gautam, Birgunj, Apr. 25: Four out of five COVID-19 patients receiving treatment at Narayani Hospital, Birgunj, have tested negative for the virus in their third PCR test.
Dr. Madan Upadhyaya, medical superintendent of the hospital, said that four COVID-19 patients had tested negative for the virus in third PCR test.
Three Indians residing at Jame Mosque at Chapkaiya, Birgunj Metropolitan City-2, who had tested positive for COVID-19 on April 11 and one each COVID-19 patients of Rautahat and Sarlahi Districts had been receiving treatment at Narayani Hospital.
Dr. Upadhyaya said that two Nepali nationals would be sent to their homes after receiving formal test report.
While we have been discussing with Chief District Officer of Parsa Disctrict and security officials regarding discharge of Indian nationals, he added.
The PCR test was done at Hetuda-based provincial laboratory.
One COVID-19 patient of Sarlahi district has been kept separately in isolation, the hospital informed further.
