By Chandra Prakash Sharma, Pokhara, Apr. 18: Mankumari Poudel, Baglung's 65-year old COVID-19 patient has been discharged from hospital today.

Poudel had been receiving treatment in isolation at Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital, Baglung and she was discharged from the hospital after testing negative for the virus in third and fourth PCR test.

"My determination to win over the virus made me recover shortly," said Poudel. "Also, I was able to recover as I followed the doctors' directions thoroughly."
Poudel said that she drank a lot of water and the food and medications given by the hospitals regularly in her 16-day stay in the hospital.

"I am immensely happy on my recovery," said Poudel. "I request everyone to follow all the safety procedures to prevent the virus infection."

Also, I request everyone to not panic even if they're infected by the virus, added Poudel.

Dr. Shailendra B. Poudel said that her she would be under medication for two weeks.

Poudel is also told to stay in home quarantine for two weeks.
Everyone who had come in direct contact with Poudel has tested negative for the virus.

The second, fifth and sixth COVID-19 patient of Nepal had returned to Nepal from same flight where, second and sixth patient were discharged today and fourth patient has tested positive for the virus for four times.
