By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 14: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has cancelled all vehicle passes issued by District Administration Offices (DAOs).
Only the pass issued by regulatory authorities will be valid, the meeting held at MoHA on Thursday decided, informed Umakanta Adhikari, Information Officer of the Ministry.
Adhikari clarified that the pass issued by the concerned ministries or prescribed regulating authorities will be valid inside the valley.
For outside the valley, pass issued by concerned authorities will be valid. If concerned authorities aren’t present, then the pass will be issued by DAO, he added.
Vehicle pass will not be required for vehicles carrying essential goods or vehicles used for essential services.
Also, for reporters, press pass issued by Department of Information will be valid.
