By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 12: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 26 more COVID-19 cases today.
Earlier today, the ministry had confirmed 57 cases of COVID-19.
It is the first time that Nepal recorded highest number of cases, that is 83, in a single day. With this, number of COVID-19 cases in Nepal has reached 217.
Six women aged 22, 28, 28, 32, 45 and 60 and 12 men aged 16, 22, 24, 25, 25, 28, 28, 32, 59, 55, 61 and 61 of Parsa district, two men aged 16 and 35 of Mahottari district, 20-year old female and 40-year old male of Dhanusa, 25-year old female and 27-year old male of Bhaktapur, 33-year old female of Kathmandu and 45-year old male of Sarlahi tested positive for the virus in PCR test done at National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL) today.
The ministry informed about it by issuing a press statement.
Health condition of all patients is normal and they are in contact with health workers.
