By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Mar. 7: The seventh session of the House of Representatives (HoR) commenced today.
Lawmakers close to the Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) boycotted the meeting a few minutes after the meeting started protesting over today's agenda of the meeting.
Speaking in the meeting, lawmaker Bhima Rawal demanded that the agenda of ordinances should be removed from today's meeting. However, Speaker Agni Sapkota continued with the agenda and the lawmakers close to the NCP Prachanda-Nepal faction exited from the meeting hall.
Similarly, the main opposition party, Nepali Congress, protested against the presentation of the ordinance related to the Constitutional Council by sloganeering in the meeting hall. Following this, Speaker Sapkota adjourned the meeting for 10 minutes and later on, it was notified that the meeting adjourned until 1 pm on March 10.
