By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 19: As many as 6,263 people in the Kathmandu Valley have been found infected with the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours.
According to the assistant spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari, 4,666 people were found infected in Kathmandu, 1019 in Lalitpur and 578 in Bhaktapur in the last 24 hours.
However, the MoHP in its press briefing today said that 6,343 people were found infected with the virus in the last 24 hours although when the district-wise data is combined that equals to 6,263.
