By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb. 16: As many as 548 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus in the PCR test of the swab samples of 6,782 people across the country in the last 24 hours.
In the same period, 185 people were found infected with the same virus through the antigen test of 2974 people, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
639 people have been found infected with the virus when the results of the PCR test and that of the antigen test are combined.
In the meantime, 1600 people have got over the virus infection while three people succumbed to it, according to the MoHP.
Nepal's COVID-19 death tally has reached 11,905.
There are 18,251 active cases of the novel coronavirus infection in the country as of today.
214,103 were vaccinated against the virus infection in the last 24 hours, according to the MoHP.
