Kathmandu, March 7: Five people, including a two-day-old baby, have been found dead in Konjyoso of Lalitpur district.
Five members of the same family were found dead in Konjyosom Rural Municipality - 4 on Monday morning, according to the Lalitpur Metropolitan Police Range.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Yagya Binod Pokhrel of Lalitpur Police Range said that four persons died on the spot while being taken to the hospital for treatment.
According to him, they were found dead in a suspicious condition at the home on Monday morning while another one was declared dead by the doctors when he was rushed to Patan Hospital for treatment. Another is being treated at the hospital, he said.
The deceased have been identified as Kaili Syangtang, 55, Sushma Syangtang, 23, Ashish Syangtang, 9, and Ashma Syangtang, 7. Similarly, 23-year-old Shubha Syangtang is undergoing treatment at Patan Hospital.
