By TRN Online, Kathmandu Apr. 19: A COVID-19 patient who has been undergoing treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadi, has been discharged today as he has recovered from the disease caused by SARS-COV-2.
A 21-year male who had been receiving treatment in the hospital has recovered from the disease and has been discharged, informed Seti Provincial Hospital by organising a press meet today.
The patient, after being discharged said that he had received quality treatment at the hospital, which enabled him to recover in a short span of time.
He said that he would stay in isolation at home for 15 more days and would help in spreading awareness about COVID-19 and its preventive measures.
Earlier today in the daily press briefing, Dr. Bikash Devkota, spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population had also notified that 21-year old male staying in isolation at Seti Provincial Hospital tested negative for COVID-19 in the latest PCR test.
Extending gratitude to the local levels, Dr. Devkota said that recovery of COVID-19 patients outside the Kathmandu Valley proved that the health institutions at the provincial levels were no less competent to combat the virus.
With this, four COVID-19 patients have recovered from the disease while 27 are receiving treatment at various hospitals.
