NC 14th General Convention: second round of election for party president
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 15: Some 3,418 votes of the total 4,563 votes cast during the second round of election to elect the party president in the ongoing 14th general convention of the ruling Nepali Congress have been counted so far.
Of the counted 3,418 votes, incumbent NC president Sher Bahdur Deuba has got 2,045 votes while his rival Dr. Shekhar Koirala has secured 1,347 votes.
26 votes have been invalidated.
