By Shivaraj Dhungana, Achham, Aug. 20: As many as 30 persong of two local levels in Achham district have been found infected with SARS-CoV-2 that causes COVID-19 today.
15 persons of Sanphebagar Municipality and 15 persons of Mellekh Rural Municipality tested positive for COVID-19 in the PCR test conducted at Dadelhdura hospital, according to Dev Joshi, information officer of Achham District Health Office.
Of the newly infected, 11 are women while 19 are men and in terms of age group, they range from a year old child to 62 year old men.
Number of infected people in Achham district has reached 758 and as many as 705 of them have returned home after treatment recovering the virus infection.
