By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb. 9: As many as 1,851 people have been found infected with the novel coronavirus through the PCR test of 11, 603 people in the last 24 hours.
550 people tested positive for the virus through the antigen tests of 4,753 people in the same period, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
2,401 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus when the results of both the PCR and antigen tests are combined.
7,777 people got over the virus infection in the same period across the country, according to the MoHP.
In the meantime, 14 people succumbed to the virus infection. With this, Nepal's COVID-19 death tally has reached 11, 852.
There are 30, 241 active cases of the virus infection in the country as of today, according to the MoHP.
In the last 24 hours, 246783 people were vaccinated against the novel coronavirus in the country.
