The ten-day grand event of 13th South Asian Games (SAG) is ending today. Following the finals of men’s football, closing ceremony is set to be held today at Dasarath Stadium, Tripureshwor.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will be addressing the closing ceremony via video conference.
Organising a press meet on the eve of the closing ceremony, Ramesh Silwal, member secretary of National Sports Council (NSC), said that the closing ceremony of the 13th SAG would be a grand event.
Competitions for 15 gold medals are being held on the ending day of SAG.
Prior to the closing ceremony, Nepal will be playing against Bhutan in the finals of men’s football.
Along with finals of men’s football, finals of Basketball and Judo will also be held today. Bhutan and Maldives will be competing for bronze in women’s basketball and Nepal and Bangladesh in men’s basketball.
Likewise, competition to haul eight gold medals will be held in Boxing and team event will be held for one gold in Judo.
India and Pakistan is competing for both, men’s and women’s squash.
