By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan. 11: Some 1.2 million doses of anti-COVID vaccine, Vero cell, have arrived here today from China.
Dr. Surendra Chaurasiya, chief of supply management center of the Department of Health, informed that 1.184 million doses of the Vero cell vaccine were brought here with loan assistance from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
Nepal has so far received 40 million 387 thousand and 927 anti-COVID vaccines such as Vero cell, Covishield, AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson.
So far, the government has administered 26 million, 405 thousand, and 210 vaccines to the people.
The government is planning to provide a booster dose of the Vero cell to the target group starting within a week.
