Kathmandu, Feb 18: A 21-year-old youth has been arrested on the charge of raping a teenage girl. The youth, Raj Kumar Thakur, 21, of Pokhariya, Parsa was working in the under-construction building of the local Nabodaya Primary School.
Thakur has been charged with raping the minor on Wednesday, by taking the girl to a jungle behind the school, Nepal Police headquarters said.
Meanwhile, Raju Tamang, 40, a resident of Triveni in Godavari municipality-2, was found dead in Lakuri Bhanjyang in Mahalaxmi municipality-10. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
