Chitwan, March 21 : A woman has died after being attacked by a wild elephant.
The deceased has been identified as Tilmaya Bhujel,50, of Ujelinagar in Bharatpur metropolitan city-13.
The incident took place at around 4:00 this morning and Bhujel died on the spot after coming under attack of the elephant, Area Police Office, Geetanagar said. Bhujel was attacked as she tried to run out of the house that was being attacked by the elephant.
The elephant also damaged three houses in the locality. Total damage incurred in the incident is not yet known.
