Dullu, July 8: Ward member of Dungeshwor rural municipality-2 in Dailekh district, Tej Bahadur Thapa, died from COVID-19 this morning.
Thapa died while undergoing treatment at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj, said Superintendent at the hospital, Prakash Thapa.
Similarly, former President of Nepali Congress, Dailekh, Jagat Jung Thapa, also succumbed to COVID-19 infection at Dailekh District Hospital on Tuesday.
Acting Chief of the District Hospital, Dailekh, Thir Prasad Regmi, said that the number of people who died from coronavirus infection has reached 31 so far in the district.
He shared that 14 people are receiving treatment at the isolation ward of the hospital and the district has now 97 coronaviruses active cases.
