By Hemnath Khatiwada, Rasuwa, Aug. 19: Two bodies have been recovered from Koldanda in Naukunda Rural Municipality-5 after the landslide caused by incessant rainfall buried Buddhi Bahadur Galan's house in the area at 1:30 am on Thursday Morning.
The dead bodies have been identified as Kamala Galan, 32, and her 11-year-old daughter Sukmaya Galan.
Similarly, 11-year-old Sokita Galan and seven-year-old Aashish Galan are still missing.
According to the police, Buddhi Bahadur Galan has been severely injured and is currently under treatment at Trauma Centre, Kathmandu. He was referred to Kathmandu from Trishuli Hospital, Nuwakot.
The police have informed that the search operation had been going on with the help of Nepal Police, Nepali Army, Armed Police Force and locals. "Four members who were sleeping inside the house were buried in the landslide while Buddhi, who was sleeping outside, sustained injuries," said Deputy Superintendent of Police Devendra Pandey of Rasuwa Police Office.
