By Govinda Sharma, Banke, June 23: Two persons died in a car accident at Agaiya jungle area in Rapti-Sonari Rural Municipality-2 along the East-West Highway today.
Heading from east to west, the car with registration number Ba 14 Cha 2789 hit a tree on the right side of the road as the driver lost control over the running car.
The deceased have been identified as Kamal Raj Lamsal, 41, of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-19, who was driving the car, and Chhitiz Raj Kunwar, 22, of Kawasoti Municipality-8 of East Nawalparasi, according to Om Bahadur Rana, Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Banke.
Critically injured, the two breathed their last while undergoing treatment at Teaching Hospital in Kohalpur.
