By Salim Miya, Pyuthan, July 20: Two girls on Monday went missing while swimming in the Madi River.
According to Police Inspector Debi Prasad Gaire, Spokesperson at the District Police Office Pyuthan, missing girls have been identified as Bipana Thapa Magar, 8, daughter of Bom Bahadur Thapa Magar of Sarumarani Rural Mnunicipality-4 Baike and Sarmila Thapa Magar, 7, daughter of Num Bahadur Thapa Marsangi Magar of Mandre.
District Police Office said that they fell into the river while swimming around 3 pm on Monday. According to locals, the two had gone to graze goats and went missing while swimming in the river.
Locals and a police team are searching for the missing girls.
