Kathmandu, Sept 26 : Two persons died of coronavirus- one from Chitwan and another from Saptari.
A 63-year-old man from Hatiya of Rajbiraj Municipality died of the virus infection while receiving treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan last night. The deceased was a teacher at Mahendra Bindeshwori Multiple Campus, Rajbiraj.
He was initially admitted in Birat Medical College after suffering fever, cough and respiratory problems. With more complication, he was taken to the BPKIHS, Dharan.
After he was tested positive for coronavirus at BPKIHS, he was shifted to its COVID-19 hospital. With this, number of people losing lives to coronavirus has reached 14.
Similarly, in Chitwan, an elderly man of 74 year died of the coronavirus infection last night. The man originally from Ward No 9 of Hetauda Sub-Metropolis died while receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College.
According to hospital director Dr Dayaram Lamshal, the man had been admitted in the hospital with respiratory problem and pneumonia. He was tested positive for coronavirus yesterday. He breathed his last while receiving treatment at ICU.
