Terhathum, March 19 : Two children have gone missing as they were swimming in the Teliya river in Hamarjung in Chathar rural municipality-2. They are suspected to have drowned in the incident that took place on Saturday afternoon.
Elina Biswakarma,12, and Saroj Biswakarma,11, had left for the river located at a one hour's walking distance from their home for swimming but did not return, says chief of the Sukrabare police post Ramesh Won.
A search was carried out in and around the place in the river where they were swimming. But they have not been found yet, said ward chair Kul Bahadur Karki.
