By Kshitiz Siwakoti, Kathmandu, July 15: A tree plantation and cleanliness programme organised by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has been scheduled to take place between Kalimati-Teku bridge and Dallu bridge on 17 July.
The drive is expected to begin from 8:15 AM and will be attended by the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Bidya Sundar Shakya.
The Environment Department Chief of the KMC, Hari Kumar Shrestha has said that the tree plantation and cleanliness drive will take place between the wards of 12,18,19 and 20 and will be attended by the Chairpersons of the respective wards too.
“We are planning to plant 200 trees in one single day,” Shrestha said.
