Lumbini, Oct 7 : Three COVID-19 patients undergoing treatment in different COVID-19 treatment facilities have succumbed to the flu-like infection over different period in Butwal in Rupandehi district.
Two COVID-19 infected persons under treatment at COVID-19 Special Hospital breathed their last here while another one succumbed to the deadly infection in course of the treatment at Lumbini State Hospital.
The person who died in COVID-19 Special Hospital today at 12:50 am at Butwal was 76-year-old man from Sunwal Municipality ward no 5 in Paschim Nawalparashi.
Similarly, a 55-year-old woman from Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City-9 receiving treatment at the same hospital breathed her last today morning, according to Dr Bishnu Gautam, information officer at COVID-19 Special Hospital, Butwal.
She was suffering from dry cough, high fever and high blood pressure problem and diabetes.
Likewise, Dr Gautam shared that 71-year-old woman from Rapti Rural Municipality-8 in Dang district passed away in Lumbini State Hospital on Tuesday evening. She was also suffering from high fever, dry cough, high blood pressure and respiratory related complications.
