Rolpa, June 23 : Three people have died after they were buried by landslide triggered by incessant rain at Liun of Rolpa municipality-9. They had been sleeping in the house and were buried by the landslide that fell from above the house, police said.
Three other people have been injured in the same incident. The deceased are 46-year-old Pratima Budha, 18-year-old Sushila Budha and 16-year-old Shyamkala Budha of Liun, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Naresh Raj Subedi from the incident site.
Those injured in the disaster are 40-year-old Tikasingh Budha, 45-year-old Sunmaya Budha and nine-year-old Shaktiman Budha. Among them, Sunmaya and Shaktiman have minor injuries, Subedi said.
