Kathmandu, June 9 : A meeting of the House of Representatives today is expected to have theoretical deliberations on the ''Nepal's Constitution (second amendment) Bill-2077 BS.'' The agenda for deliberations on the amendment bill is reflected in the session's agenda. The bill aims to incorporate the country's revised political and administrative map in the Schedule-3 of the Constitution.
It may be noted that the government on May 20 had published the revised map incorporating Kalapani, Lipulek and Limpiyadhura as its territories. The bill is for amending the constitution on the basis of all-party consensus.
As per the meeting agenda, the discussions will start following the completion of ministry-wise discussions over the budget appropriated for the upcoming fiscal year.
Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Dr Shiva Maya Tumbahangphe will present a proposal seeking considerations over the bill which was registered in the Federal Parliament on May 22 and registered in the House on June 1.---
