Kathmandu, Nov 11: Nepal Telecom has launched the 4G high-speed internet service in several towns from Birtamod in east to Mahendranagar in west in all seven states.
According to Company Spokesperson Pratibha Baidya, the distribution of 4G SIM card on a discount price has begun and customers can change their cards. Similarly, the Company is also focused on strengthening the service.
A promotional programme was organised in Birtamod of Jhapa on November 20 and in Birgunj of Parsa on November 8 and 4G SIM cards were distributed on the occasions.
Such type of programme has been scheduled for November 12 in Ramlila Ground in Nepalgunj, for November 14 at Eye Hospital area in Surkhet, for November 16 at an Open Theater in Mahendranagar and for November 20 at Amarsingh Ground in Pokhara.
