Palpa, July 17 : The Tansen-Butwal road section has come to a grinding halt after the rain-triggered landslide disrupted the Siddhartha Highway.
With the fall of landslide on the highway, the Tansen-Butwal road stretch has been obstructed since early this morning. Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) of Palpa District Police Office, Madan Giri informed the highway traffic has been completely disrupted with the occurrence of landslide at Tansen-8, Gaundepool.
It is still difficult to remove the debris of landslide from the highway due to continuous rain, police said. Landslide is still occurring in the area with the incessant rain.
