Dhangadhi, April 20 : Chief of Sudur Paschim State, Sharmila Kumari Panta, has prorogued the fifth convention (the winter session) of the State Assembly effective from 12pm Sunday.
The session has been prorogued due to the present situation brought about by coronavirus pandemic, the State Assembly Secretariat stated in a notice.
The State Chief has already certified the bill related to registration of private enterprises and the bill related to registration of partnership enterprises, which were passed by the winter session. The winter session had started on January 20.
Five bills registered with the Secretariat were under discussions in the Assembly. The Speaker had on February 23 suspended the meeting of the Assembly under the session until further notice.
