Rupandehi, Nov 14 : Physical Infrastructure Development Committee under the State-5 Assembly has directed the concerned ministry to implement key projects as a multi-year initiative.
The meeting held on the presence of Minister for Infrastructure Development on Wednesday Baijanath Chaudhary directed four division chiefs of the ministry to do so.
The meeting had a discussion with division chiefs in connection with the spending of Ministry's annual programme budget, financial and physical progress
On the occasion, assembly committee members had enquired about delay in the execution of the projects and the service quality.
Responding to the quarries of state assembly members, Minister Chaudhary said that the delay was caused due to legal process and employee management He also assured the assembly members that the project works would speed up from now onwards.
In the meeting chaired by committee president Asha Swarnakar, assembly members, including Bir bahadur Rana, Narayan Prasad Acharya, Dharma Bahadur Lal Shreevastava, Fakarudhin Khan, Tara GC and Lauti Tharu had enquired about projects' progress status.
The meeting also has decided to monitor the state government-implemented projects from 5 December.
