Biratnagar, Sept. 10: Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of State-1, Hikmat Karki on Tuesday invited every Chief District Officer (CDO) of the State in the security meeting scheduled for September 14 and 15.
“The programme will be held in the presence of federal government,” said Karki, addressing 14 CDOs through a video conference on Tuesday. “I appeal to everyone to attend the programme along with security report of your respective districts.”
The CDOs have been told to prepare a subject-wise report on six issues that would be discussed in the meeting.
Preparations to celebrate the Constitution Day as a national fest, management for the treatment of dengue in the affected districts, protest of Koshi Victims in Sunsari, preparation for prevention of natural disasters and activities of Sagarmatha Teens Club were the issues to be discussed in the meeting, informed Karki to the officers.
The State government has decided to celebrate the Constitution Day by conducting various creative programmes in 137 local levels.
