Rolpa, April 1 : Rungtigadhi rural municipality has introduced a special duty allowances for the health workers dealing with screening and treatment of COVID-19 here.
The motivational allowance is in addition to what the federal and state governments have pledged for the health workers. The health workers would be under coverage of Rs 500,000 risk insurance and entitled to 75 per cent additional allowances on their regular remuneration. The security personnel will be provided with 50 per cent additional allowances on their salaries.
The rural municipality has set up over Rs 6.7 million COVID-19 Prevention, Control Fund, informed non-gazetted first class officer in the rural municipality, Deepak DC.
