Myagdi, Nov 1 : One hundred and twenty households who are still deprived of power supply received solar energy sets.
The households in Dhawalagiri rural municipality received the sets from the provincial government.
The households in areas were the central power transmission is yet to reach received the solar energy sets, said the rural municipality chair Thamsara Pun. Solar sets of 50 watt were distributed to the households.
The solar set worth Rs. 24,000 is provided to the consumers at the cost of Rs. 4,273 only.
The distribution was carried out in ward nos 4 and 6. There are seven wards in the rural municipality, where 3,129 household live.
With the latest distribution of solar sets, 90 per cent of the households now have access to power facility, according to the rural municipality.
