Jaleswar, Feb 13 : Rahul Pandey, a young social worker of Pipara Rural Municipality-1 Khairba of Mahottari has constructed a community building in his village.
The building was completed at the cost of Rs. 2.2 million. It can now be used for social functions including weddings of the children of the local poor and destitute people.
It may be noted that federal MP Mahanta Thakur, state assembly member Abhiram Sharma and Municipality chair Bikram Chaudhary had also expressed their commitment to construct a community building in Pipra rural municipality-1. Locals have complained that the commitment has not been implemented so far.
