Bhaktapur, Feb. 4: A large number of domestic tourists gathered from Nagarkot to Ranikot, the tourism sites of Bhaktapur, to experience snowfall on Friday.
A tourism entrepreneur Ram Sundar Bake said that domestic tourists started visiting Ranikot of Suryabinayak Municipality-8 since 2:00 pm to relish the snowfall which started taking place since noon.
A proprietor at Hotel Highland of Ranikot, Ram Sundar, shared, “Arrivals of domestic tourists increased due to the snowfall. It has created hope in business. We are very happy to have tourists in this area.”
Other hills in Bhaktapur district as Changunarayan, Trishuldanda, Telkot, Nagarkot, Batasedanda, Bojhini, also blanketed with snowfall, drawing large number of people from the Kathmandu Valley.
Proprietor at Hotel Marigold of Nagarkot, Gokul Lamichhane shared that Nagarkot witnessed surge of visitors in the wake of snowfall. "The snowfall occurred at Nagarkot after three years has added enthusiasm in tourism business,” he observed.
