By Diwakar Pokharel, Deukhuri, Mar. 15: A total of six houses have been burnt to ashes in a fire that brokeout in Lamahi of Dang district this morning.
As many as six houses with thatched roofs were completely damaged in a power outage at Rapti Tol Bikash Sanstha (Dhikpur) in Lamahi Municipality- 6 on Monday morning at 10 am.
The fire was brought under control with the help of Lamahi Municipality and Gadhwa Village Fire Brigade and Ward Police Office Lamahi, Armed Police Force, Nepali Army, and locals.
Anup Budha, Chairman of the Rapti Tol Bikash Sanstha said that the houses of Baliram Chaudhary, Sarju Chaudhary, Basanta Chaudhary, Prem Chaudhary, Kanchhu Chaudhary and Ramesh Bahadur Budha, residents of Lamahi Municipality- 6 Dhikpur were destroyed by fire.
According to the police, details of fire incurred losses are yet to be determined.
The incidents of fire are being observed in different parts of Deukhuri with the start of the summer season.
