Kathmandu, Mar. 20: The Single Women Group has said it was ready to provide Chhahari houses capable to accommodate 365 persons for quarantine purpose. Information to this was shared before Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokhrel by Group's founding chair Lily Thapa and chair Kunda Sharma.
They met DPM and coordinator of the high level coordination committee on control of Covid-19, Pokhrel, and said their organization was ready to provide its 10 buildings located at different districts for the purpose of preventing corona virus.
According to them, the buildings were in Sunsari, Jhapa, Dhankuta, Sankhuwasabha, Kathmandu, Kavrepalanchowk, Chitwan, Dhading, Surkhet and Kailali districts.
On the occasion, DPM Pokhrel responded that the government was ready for all-out measures if needed. Currently, it is time to be precautious and prepared, he said, appealing to all not to be panicked but build trust on government.
