By Our Correspondent, Kavre, Feb. 25: Rosi Gaupalika has brought two ambulances into operation since Sunday where regular vehicles are not easily available.
The ambulances had been bought for Rs. 2.1 million with the support of the Bagmati State and the Gaupalika.
Bagmati State had supported with Rs. 1.6 million and the remaining amount was added by the gaupalika to buy the ambulances.
According to Chief Administrative Officer Dammaru Dahal, ambulances are operating in Rosi village where there is no regular transportation facility.
According to the chief of Rosi Gaupalika, Dal Bahadur Lama, ambulance service has been started in Ward 5 and 11.
Rosi Gaupalika has a population of about 100,000, in all its 12 wards.
According to Shreedas Lama, Chief of Ward-1, different organisations had supported for ambulance service to Ward – 1, 2, 3 and 6 a year ago.
