Manang, April 18 : Relief materials have been distributed to the locals of Nisyang rural municipality in the district.
According to rural municipality chair Kanchha Ghale, 76 households were provided relief package so that they would not suffer from food shortage during the ongoing lockdown.
As most of them are from working class, they may suffer food shortage. So, they are provided food stuffs, he added.
The relief package comprises rice, cooking oil, iodized salts and potatoes.
Meanwhile, local health centre here has launched awareness campaign against the possible outbreak of COVID-19.
However, the district is yet to receive COVID-19 testing kits.
