Tulsipur, Jan 6 : As parts of its specialized and extended services, the Rapti Academy of Health Sciences has started pediatric service with specialist doctors and medical officers. The pediatric unit was commenced after the specialists including Dr Netra Prasad Banjade joined the Academy, an official at the Academy, Jhankar Lamichhane said.
He further shared that plans are ongoing to give more services by the consultant physicians and pediatricians. With five new, the number of medical officers in the hospital has reached ten, making environment conducive for the treatments.
Likewise, the Academy has started treatments for mental health problems. Registrar of the Academy Ram Prasad Pyakurel said that intensive care unit and more specialized services would be provided in the near future. With the extended services, the number of patients visiting the Academy for treatment has gone up, Pyakurel said.
Furthermore, the Academy has now modern laboratory for dental health care and the pathology unit.
