By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Apr. 30: As many as 1,136 vehicles on roads without passes or listed in essentials have been taken into the hold by the Traffic Police, on the second day of the prohibitory order of the Kathmandu Valley so far.
According to the Metropolitan Traffic Police Office, Kathmandu, a total of 849 two-wheelers and 266 four-wheelers have been retained today in the whole Kathmandu Valley.
Saying that traffic police are loosening their chain for sick, in an emergency, and travelling to the airport, Metropolitan Traffic police urged everyone to not step out until deemed emergency.
“We are mobilizing the pre-paid taxi for travelling to and from the airport for both the domestic and international passengers. We have also requested the Tourism Ministry for providing the ‘Sajha bus’ for transport to the airport in the main city areas such as Kalanki, Maharajgunj, Bhaktpur, and Lalitpur” said Raj Kumar Chhetri, Spokesperson at the Civil l Aviation Authority of Nepal.
