Kathmandu, Feb 27: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has appointed Professor Shridhar Khatri as Nepal's Ambassador to the United States. According to Article 282 of the Constitution of Nepal, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, the President appointed Professor Khatri as the Ambassador today.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers on October 28 had recommended the appointment of Professor Khatri as Ambassador to the United States. The newly appointed ambassador is the former executive director of the Institute of Foreign Affairs.
