Kathmandu, Feb. 7: A book named Bishwo Arthik Kranti: Sumer to Silicon Valley (World Economic Revolution: From Sumer to Silicon Valley) penned by Krishna Poudel has been published. Born in Myagdi, Poudel has presented analytical views on world politics, history and economy.
The author has intertwined various aspects of political economy -- from the primitive age of human civilization to the present era of technological advancement.
Topics like economic revolutions of primitive period, medieval ups and downs, dawn of capitalism, periphery of industrial revolution, economic scenario of the 20th century and Silicon Valley and information advancement give a comprehensive picture of history and prospects of economic development of the world.
The book was published by Book Hill Publication. Poudel, who holds a degree in economic history from Lund University of Sweden, currently resides in Denmark.
