Gandaki, Jan 27 : Pokhara metropolitan city has shut its regular services except the most essential ones from today in view of the heightened risk of coronavirus.
In a notice, the metropolis announced that its regular services would remain closed up to January 30 since some of its employees have contracted coronavirus infection of late.
Metropolis spokesperson Dhan Bahadur Nepali shared that all regular services excluding sanitation, health and most essential have been shut to avoid further widespread risk of the octagon especially after the staffers of the metropolitan city contracted the virus.
He further informed that the service delivery of four out of 33 wards of the metropolis have also been shut due to COVID-19 outbreak.
