Kathmandu, Nov 23: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed sorrow over the demise of Daya Raj Basyal, chief of the District Coordination Committee (DCC) Palpa and Nepal Communist Party (NCP) State Committee member.
Issuing a condolence message today, PM Oli spoke highly of Basyal's contribution for changing the society and expressed sorrow over his death.
PM added that Basyal was a sincere and dedicated leader and active fighter in the communist movement of the country.
He extended deep condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
A resident of Yamgha, Bagnaskali Rural Municipality, Basyal passed away last Thursday. He was 67.
