Banepa, Nov 12 : A pillion rider died on the spot in a road mishap at Janagal of Banepa municipality-10 of Kavrepalanchowk this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Bimal Kutuju, 20, student of Bageshwori College at Chyamasing of Bhaktapur municipality-9, said police.
The accident took place when a motorcycle was crushed between two vehicles-- a tipper (Ba 3 Kha 7089) and a jeep (Ba 10 cha 2154, said Police Inspector at the Area Police Office, Banepa, Niranjan Bhattarai.
Similarly, motorcyclist Krishna Dahal of Bhaktapur-8, student of the same college, was critically injured in the accident. Dahal has been referred to Madhyapurthimi Hospital from Banepa-based Karuna Hospital, said police.
